“In my 20 years of clinical and field experience I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of athletes and artists from rugby & hockey players to cellists & opera singers, but I also really love working with “regular” people like myself, helping them feel like the strongest, most resilient and energized versions of themselves!”

Growing up in northern British Columbia, Heather spent most of her free time either running through the forest or in the dance studio. Since then, she has spent her life studying the beautiful moving architecture of the human body, fascinated by the ways we live in and through our bodies.

After a first career in classical ballet that led her to dance professionally in the United States and in Canada, she settled in Montreal to study biology and Exercise Science at Concordia University, graduating in 2004 with a BSc., specialization in Athletic Therapy. Wanting to go more deeply into manual therapy and its effects on performance and well-being, she then completed the seven year program at the internationally-renowned school of traditional osteopathy, the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal to become an osteopath, D.O. in 2014 with the presentation of her case study The Effects of Osteopathic Manual Therapy on the Vocal Qualities of Two Professional Singers”.

Always looking to deepen her knowledge, she regularly takes continuing education courses with a wide variety of experts in the fields of both manual therapy and movement-based rehabilitation.

When not working she loves traveling to explore new cultures & cuisines, spending time in nature with her lovely family, and trying new movement-based activities such as hip-hop classes and attempting to surf.
